Even though the phone looks plain in its standard block form factor, it is strong and will last for a long time without breaking. The body of the phone is made of high quality plastic. The display of the phone is a 2.8 inch TFT display with QVGA resolution. The screen is a touch screen with the latest Touch Wiz User Interface.
The phone comes with an internal memory of 80 MB which can be expanded using the MicroSD card slot to a maximum of 16 GB. The phone does not include a keypad and instead can be operated using the touch screen. The screen is user friendly and easy to manipulate.
The Samsung S5600has decent connectivity options. These include the GPRS and EDGE both class 12, and HSDPA. The phone also has the Bluetooth 2.1 version along with the Bluetooth chip allowing fast and easy transfer of information. The Samsung S5600 comes with an inbuilt 3.15 MP camera with an LED flash. Videos can be recorded at a rate of 15 frames per second.
A wide range of media formats are supported by the phone’s media player including audio formats such as MP3, WMA and AAC. The phone also allows Shazam’s music service which allows the user to find their favorite media easily.
